JENKINS of PORCHETTA serves up an amazing, and we mean amazing, Porchetta (pork) sandwich at her cozy restaurant in the East Village of NYC. Join Steve as he hears her tell tales of learning her love of food while living in Italy and honing her skills as she traveled to become the Porchetta Sandwich Queen. Then scoot with them to The Meat Market in Brooklyn for some awesome butcher talk.

  • Tasted great! best bread, not enough meat in the sandwich.I just could not justify spending another $10,to make it right. $20 for a $10 pork sandwich?

  • close your eyes, listen, she sounds like Rosanne Barr?

  • @beyondthedish I work for a hospital In STL. We braise pork shoulders for BBQ pulled pork sandwiches for patients( if their diet allows). It comes out great ( if I do it). Salt, pepper, cumin, garlic braised over night. We cook hospital food but we try to make it like food you would get from a hotel or restaurant. We even do room service for patients. It's not glamourous, but we try to make it feel like it is, with respect to dietary needs.

  • @beyondthedish What was the temperature and for how long was it cooked?
