Story:

Seth Brundle was a renowned scientist whose warped experiments with teleportation transformed him into a man/fly hybrid called BrundleFly. A few months after the BrundleFly insect met its demise by his lover's, Veronica, shotgun, she dies while giving birth to their son, Martin. Seth's corrupt employer, Bartok, adopts Martin, only so Martin can solve the new problems that the still-functioning TelePods present and to use him as a science project because of the dormant insect genes.

Martin is now fully grown, even though he is five, and the fly genes begin to awaken and make him just like dear, dead dad. With the help of his girlfriend, Beth, they go to wherever they can find a possible cure before Bartok finds them and brings them back, but not before Martin finishes his transformation into MartinFly, the deadliest of the BrundleFly species.

Handlung:

Nachdem die schwangere Geena Davis ihren "Freund" Seth Brundle töten musste,da dieser zu einer Fliege mutierte,brachte Sie sein Kind zur Welt und verstarb während des Eingriffes,da es zu Komplikationen kam!

Seths und Geenas Sohn,namens Martin hat nur leider ein kleines Problem!Denn auch er trägt die mutierten Gene seines Vaters in sich und somit wird auch Er irgendwann mal eine "Fliege" sein!Doch dies wissen alle,nur Martin nicht!

Er wächst in einer Anstalt auf und muss etliche Experimente über sich ergehen lassen!Er wird dabei belogen und hintergangen und man erzählt ihm,diese Tests sind normal!

Nachdem Martin älter geworden ist,stellt man ihm eine eigene Wohnung und er lernt währenddessen die bezaubernde Beth kennen,in die Martin sich sofort verliebt!Aber in genau dieser Zeit,wo das Glück für ihn doch perfekt ist,beginnt Martin sich in eine Fliege zu verwandeln!

Er flieht mit seiner Freundin Beth,doch es dauert nicht lange und beide werden wieder eingefangen!Nun verwandelt Martin sich entgültig zu einem Monstrum,wie einst sein Vater schon und beginnt sich mit Gewalt zu wehren!

With the music, it makes it more clear how sad I get watching both these movies

The opening reminds me alot of Youngs Hellraiser-theme. But still, this is another fantastic and haunting score from a musical genius.
