hahahaha, iv gotten bitten by a horse before,i actually owned the horse and i went to take him in from the field and he was just in a bad mood that day..its not fun but thats a pretty horse and your a dumb guy

Notice the horse shied away from you when you stroked its face, and then notice how close your hands were to its eye when it nipped. The nip was a very appropriate warning and shows the horse has patience and restraint.

Perhaps you went about this the wrong way. I have a warmblood mare who is like a large puppy she follows you every where and will go to the ends of the earth if you asked her to, however when she is eating she likes to be in peace. Horses can eat upto 4 times their weight in a day if allowed to. This is a survival mechanisim and it is instilled in them from birth.
