Since you have access to the internet, I hope you've already checked out some of the thousands of websites catering to the care of hamsters. They all cover cages as well. (My personal opinion is not to use a tank since it's the furthest from it's natural environment. No tubes, etc. Good luck.

@kaylabba1053 YES I HAVE AND I DO USE A 10 GALLON ITS GREAT. AND EASY TO SERVICE. just make suer its not over 20H 20L or 20G thats to hard to maintaine but if u want u can use any size

I once bought that same Habitrail cage, it's good for the tubing and to play in, but awful ventilation.
