Result: Distorted String Instrument, will probably sound a hell of a lot like a distorted guitar since you know, it's a string instrument.

@markaum Im not a cello player but a drummer, so I admit not being completely familiar with all "cheats" other musicians do, maybe you are right but I still believe someone played distorted guitar in this track, and if not, then I congratulate the producer for doing a hell of a job emulating an overdriven guitar out of a cello.
