Don't make me turn my cheek at you

its unorthodox. You decide if unorthodox = false.
I don't mind unorthodox teaching as it tends to make me think more.

how isnt this theologically sound?

IF this is a good representation of Rob Bell's theology, he needs to be grabbed by the hair and thrown out into the street as a heretic. Anathema! this is NOT the bible, not sound doctrine, it is psychobable 101 and it stinks!
Oh, Yes (sarcasm) Rob Bell, Jesus was not talking about forsaking hiuman justification and leaving vengence to God, but instead he was teaching baskic human equality
NOT
What crap!

@nzge15 ...as if there was no truth? hmm, shame on Gods word then, for not being able to teach us the truth.

The thing we really need to ask ourselves is, "Is this man doing any damage to Christianity, or are shallow, undecided, lukewarm 'christians' just gravitating toward him to justify their unbelief in the Inspiration of ALL Scripture?" If this is the case, no harm, no foul... I am already aware that false christians are being raised up to condemn God's people as heretics in the last days. If they were of us, they would have stayed with us... Its not judgemental. Its matter-of-fact.

So much bigger!!! :)

i love what you just said..
GOD is bigger than religion ..
...with the fact that this is no where near theologically sound

I've only made a couple of posts here about a year ago. I return to find this debate still raging. My questions are about us, not Rob Bell:
How much time do we spend on message boards doing all of this debating?
Is this time well-spent?
Have we ever, as far as we know, changed another's beliefs with our arguments?
What relationships could be investing in more if we weren't online so much?
Do these virtual debates distract us from our true calling?
Is God happy with these forums?
