first get zoo med mite off or some time of safe spray that kills the mites on the snake.
then buy prevent a mite .
after that i soaked my snakes for hours you cant be over cautious with mites.
finally make sure if you handle one of your boas then go an handle a nother one you use purrel or wash your hands i did all this steps once a week for about 1 and half months.

dude i had mites for a while better safe than sorry,they sneak up on you. you will think there gone then boom there back just to help you im sure you now alot im only 14 but i no a good amount i havent seen a mite on my reptiles in over 4 months ,i had them for about 1.
