HAS ANY ONE ACTUALLY GOT AN EMULATOR TO WORK CORRECTLY. I've downlaoded 4 different emulators and tried 3 different games as well as running orginal ps1 cdroms and nothing works.

@PimpMatt0 thanks i did get it working but its a little glitchy on some games. south park works ok but yet medievil2 is very glitchy. any quick tips on whats wrong

Try switching to different ePSXe versions or changing the video plugins. Works with 1.6.0. I think.

@JohnKsJam use cheatengine and speedhack the program to a lower speed value under 1.0 and they should do the job, but it would cause your game to run slower too

ive got my emulator to work i played gran turismo 2 that i actually have and it ran just fine!

@domdomdom1993 The weirdest thing is, I got mines to work NOT by running the actual ISO/MDF or w/e file... but the MDS one O_O! Makes no bloody sense, but hey, I got it to work <,<

@VKGchaos I'll be sticking to ps1 games. I dont have enough time to self so getting a 3k laptop seems a big waste of money. Crash and Spyro are good enough for me.

@domdomdom1993 Laptops don't cut it.. unless you're willing to spend 2-3k+ on them.

Quick spec example here, a GTS 250 and a 3 GhZ dual core cpu can't run PS2 emu's properly without lag. My setup is a GTX 460 1gb, i5 2500K which runs them with x32AA flawlessly. If you ever do upgrade i recommend a GTX 570/i5 2500K which is more future-proof than my med-high 460.. laptops can't do it tbh

@domdomdom1993 You will need a very good PC to run emulators.. or an insanely high priced laptop because they don't run games well.

@VKGchaos yeah i got epsxe working great too but then my good laptop's hardrive broke after a fall so now I'm running my older laptop which cant handle anything but browsing. I'm gunna by a nettop since my laptop spent most of it's time in the same room.

@domdomdom1993 Ive got 30 hours of play on FF 12 and it runs flawlessly. Some games however do not work and will lag like crazy regardless of PC specs.. such as Rachet & Clank games
