@THEZOOLOGIST123 Yep I had a catfish in there. I believe he was a channel cat. I got him in a trade with an oscar I wanted. I had him for maybe a month while I looked for a new home for him. He went to someone who had access to a pond in which to keep him in. Really isnt a tank fish, he actually made a meal of some of my smaller convicts while he was in there lol. good eyes

are those elodea or hydrilla plants in the left ?? are all the plants native ? :)
BoboIntelligence 10 months ago
@BoboIntelligence All my plants are actually fake. They are Fancy Plant Giants and a few other cheapo fakes. I cant say I remember what the labels were on the packages either so I have no idea if they are native fakes or not, sorry.

wait does the wood have to be on shore or underwater? to find out if its soft or hard
Cichlidlover22 1 year ago
@Cichlidlover22 Well that piece was one that had washed up from the lake so it had been in water. I suppose the fingernail test would be good for both pieces on the shore and in the water, as long as they had been in water recently. Also it sort of goes without saying that a piece that isnt water logged and is soft to touch is too soft for your tank. :) Basically its kinda like use your best judgment. If you think it wont do well then it probably will not.
