A love letter to lager while drinking Windsor & Eton's excellent Republika, a pilsner made with Moravian malt and Saaz hops.

  • must be the best Lager I have drunk fron an English Micro Brewery.

  • Tried this yesterday, agree with your review very refreshing beer, cheers

  • @redpola Spot on.It's so good to see some good Lager coming out of England. For too long lager has been associated with Fosters,Stella,1664 etc. and had a poor image as an inferior quality beer. The English have always shown the world how to brew ale now they're showing they can brew great lager too.

  • I loved this beer too - really smooth and less hoppy in bitterness than most of the pilsners I've tasted.

  • Amen. While I think your presentation is a bit too staccato, I utterly concur with your sentiment. More Czech style lager beers in the UK please, UK breweries! Death to carling/Carlsberg/fosters!
