hey i need some help with buying the right crossbow for me, i'm 15 and want a decent to good crossbow to start with. the only problem is i don't know what pull back i can do, any help with maybe measuring it or should i just go in and test it at a store? thanks

@seamusmccormick22 Go to your local bow shop and test them out to see what weight you are comfortable with cocking. Good luck and good hunting!

today my dad and i went out for shotgun i hit it then after 1 and a half hours the blood trail stopped, also how come you have no orange on?

@95blasterRider I hope you find your deer. In New Jersey you do not have to wear orange for bow season.

@95blasterRider bow hunters arent required to wear orange. there are few of us. only reason you wear it with gun is because guns travel a long range. bows dont. also there r more gun hunters.  ive had ppl walk up on me with out seeing me during gun seaon and i was in almost ALL orange/

nice hunting thats the biggest 6 piont ive ever seen. Its like my 4 point that i killed with brown-tines, thicker and wider. Nice job over all good hunting!:)

@wowwowwow92 A couple things here, this landowner is over-run with deer and I donate to Hunters Helping The Hungry. I could have taken more because I still had family and friends asking for venison. As long as there are tables in need, the landowner wants me to provide the less fortunate!

I am an avid hunter too. Live in NY but only hunted nj as a kid. Why do you need to kill more then 2 or 3 deer a year? 20 is a bit insane if you ask me.
