This time I changed the main instrument as it was a bit harsh. Still sounds a bit reversed, I could probably fix that by shortening the releases on some of the instruments (as the release turns into the noteon when reversed).

You find better sounds then I did! You are definitely on the right track! Nice, this is more like a sport now :) Unless Synthsonic running the original in the background (filtered)? has he / she succeeded extraordinarily well.
