bottom line is that its difficult to control people that have not broken the law, our governments solution? make us all into criminals and thereby institute the foundation of control. If you talk to professional officers, they "know" better. The new guys are the problem.

You dont inflame the situation. with posture and attitude.Your presence is to calm and defuse and protect. There still are agencys with that kind of professionalisim. I wont name them here. @kamakazishark Please don't take this the wrong way, but those of us in mainstream America have the perspective of 'our' cops being like Andy Griffith or the ones on COPS, and view the cops in the ghetto as being akin to the ones who beat Rodney King... "it won't happen to me" sort of attitude.

I never thought I'd see the day were having a cop as a neighbor would unnerve me. Nice guy and whatnot... but I'm not so blind anymore to think he's Sheriff Andy, without seeing his track record.

@frickadele There are bad apples in every profession. The hubby, will always uphold the constitution. It is what he believes in. He has very high morals and standards and would never go against what he believes in for some jo blo. It doesn't matter where the order came from for some drill.

That is why I asked, would you ever take part in something like giving people shots against their will because it is under "marshal law" and he quickly said NO!

Last year when people were being told to take the flu shot or lose your job, I continued saying that marshal law is slowly being enforced. He called me rediculous.

I pulled up a site online and showed him where now it is supposed law , under marshal law, for the military, the police, whomever to come into our homes and give us shots and kill if they wanted.
