Selena-(looks over at him) maybe he just needs some cheering up (smirks and gets up)

Kevin-(pulls her back down) he doesnt need your kind of cheering up. He needs mileys kind of cheering up

Selena-(rolls her eyes)

Joe-you think we should try talking to him?

Demi-(looks over at him) maybe we should just give him a little more time

***ff a week***

NICKS POV
The week had dragged on. I still went to the shelter to help out. I didnt have to anymore but there was something about it. I reminded me of miley in a lot of ways. I became pretty close with Lucas he had asked me if I wanted to hang out with him and his friends but I still wasnt up to it. A few days ago I had passed by one of the kennels and heard a puppy whimpering and it made me stop. When I looked at the puppy in the corner I was shocked to see that it was the same one miley had picked up a few weeks ago. Lucas said no one wanted him and that he would be put down at the end of the week with a bunch of other dogs. It took some convincing but I talked my mom into letting me take him. Over the past couple days hes actually come around. He was playing a little more and was kind of clumsy, it reminded me of miley. I remember miley tripping down stairs or even over nothing. Just like him. He made me laugh a few times. I decided to name him Lucky. I was never really good at picking out names but it seemed to fit. I was in my room actually enjoying myself as lucky chased his toy around until I heard a knock on my door.

Joe-hey nick the new neighbors moved in down the street in mileys old house. Mom wants us to go introduce ourselves.

Demi-they have some kids

Kevin-and theres a girl there about your age and apparently shes famous

Nick-I dont want to go

Demi-nick! dont make me bust this door down!

Joe-its not worth it demi. Come on nick. You can stay in there forever!

Nick-watch me

Kevin-at least introduce yourself soon
