Does this modem work good on the ps3 slim also I want to connect it to a router not sure if I should buy a D Link router or the Netgear N900 Dual Band router what do you recommend? I do a lot of online gaming?

(modem/router) and is it better to have just a single device that acts as a router and modem rather than having two seperate devices?

it all depends on individual needs. i got my son a new xbox 360 at xmas. WOw what abandwidth hog. So i bought the netgear wnr2000 to put his xbox on. My comps and netflix run off the dir 825. this is what i thought the dir 825 was supposed to do (duel band). See i dont have cable tv. i use hulu and netflix (10.00 a month). and i see all my shows and build websites too. See my video on routers

absolutly right mytuber81. I found out later ( i already had my router) from DLINK and NETGEAR that the firmwear for DOCS 3.0 is not out yet.My friend who has same everything as me gets a whopping 5.8 meg download without a router. i get 2 and she has 10 meg subscrition i have 25. The router will S L O W...... you down. So i foyu dont have the router get the sbg6580 with wifi (135 at amazon ) they are both the same speeds. i will do a video on dlink and netgear and docs 3.0 soon.
