  • does the sizzix xl dies work in the cuttlebug also? I have the cuttlebug and want to get the Sizzix Bigz XL Die - Album, Brackets. Do you know if this will work in it or not?

    Thank you

    Amy

  • The dies will fit in the cuttlebug - but the extended cutting pads will not, but you can use the cuttlebug cutting pads, passing trough twice, moving the plates along the die without moving the paper or use 2 sets of plates. Hope that helps.

  • I have the Big Shot. I really like it. I feel like it's much more versatile than the other machines. Thanks for sharing what you have experienced.

  • Hi there, Thanks so much for posting this. I have a cuttlebug, but after 3 years of use, wanted to purchase some of the bigger Sizzix dies which won't fit in the cuttlebug. Finally I have decided to buy the Big Shot, and your video has helped me understand all the pros and cons of buying one.

  • You have done a great job in doing this review on both products and even other products which is an added bonus. Thank you for doing this video.

  • can cut fabric?

  • @walenihula Thank you so much for answering it for me. I live in Canada and don't have an AC Moore and Michaels won't honor their 40% off on these items so I am still looking for that deal I appreciate you letting me know and I think Big Shot is the way to go, thanks again

  • @KimScrapper I didn't see a reply from the poster and did not know if you got your answer. I got my bigshot from Michaels using a 50% off coupon from A. C. Moore. (printed from the internet). It was only $50 plus tax. Yes it cuts chipboard. I cut my first cover for a little notebook for my daughter today and it cut the chipboard effortlessly

  • Thanks! Your video was very helpful :o)

  • Great video, are you still pleased with the Big Shot. I am thinking about purchasing a die cutting machine and wondered might be the most economical for a newbie. Does the big shot cut chipboard too? Thanks

  • Thanks for the info, you answered many questions I have had.
