  • I have always been stupefied that practitioners don’t promote atm as a PRACTICE, like Yoga, or Tai Chi, that can be used as a path to a more fulfilling life. I have been putting this out there since 2004. My thinking has become a bit radical. But these are trying times & the need for a radical shift in consciousness is paramount to our survival as a species. Please check out my blog today (2/21/11) go to blogspot & search for somalogic. I welcome practitioner ideas about my way of framing ATM

  • @SomaticExplorer You need to leave your blog url in your post... the url you post in the ID info doesn't show.

  • I totally agree. I cannot really live without ATM anymore, which I recognize as a good thing. I do some everyday at least. I could use more FI lessons though. I live in a new area, and though I have made Feldy friends, it would be more beneficial if I would ask to trade twice a month. Thanks again Allison

  • @brianb12 Brian, it's been a while since you left this post... I hope you've found some Feldy Friends to exchange with... it's worth a drive!

  • @FeldyMentor I have connected with some people and I am going to teach the small group an ATM tomorrow. I am thinking that I will leverage some FI out of the deal - which I need...

  • @brianb12 Brian, try using the Heart-to-Heart ideas you've been learning from the Beta program when you talk to people in your class. Practicing them as much as you can will get you the best results!

  • Good job.

  • indispensable i mean ... was fuddling with the dictionary to find out how to spell this word :-P

  • uhm, rephrase this: actually it is important to name concepts (differentation, reverse proximal/distal etc). that's the difference to tai chi, yoga etc etc. we use and teach awareness, and not just mechanical movements ...

  • me too, ATM has become dispensable in my life. But I developed my own style of doing it. Nowadays I do it on the hard floor, so that *I* must be soft, not the floor. It feels Amazing.

I think people who say "i don't have the time" to do ATM just never experienced the feeling of ATM. That must be the prime objective as a practitioner, to make sure people FEEL how the ATM feels (not the effect). Plus: as long as you're not selling a BMW, no need talking technical terms...
