Hi, does the led light only work for still images or can it be on for recording video?

I've been reading up on so many trying to decided on one. I'm leaning towards the Sanyo VPC-CS1. Have you reviewed that one?

@tristkiss no, sorry , yes strobe light is powerful as a flash for stills, led will be needed but not one four , still not going to do the job 3 feet caputre you nothing more

Dad-gum, I already bought the Kodak Zi-8 and now this Sanyo VPC-PD2 looks even better. If I didn't already have 3 other video cameras I'd check Amazon out for this one.
