In memory of Tom "T-Bone" Wolk, who died Sunday of a heart attack, age 58.

December 24, 1951 - February 28, 2010 -

Tom's great sense of humor is obvious here and he is wearing his signature smile throughout. The same one he wore while laughing along side the jokes during the guest host's monologue when he was a member of the Saturday Night Live band. At 2:05 in the video you can see Tom give Robby a wink and a nod, and that's something when you see you know that, "hey, they're cool man". RIP Tom, you will be missed, and your contributions not forgotten.

From episode 18 w/ Doors' Ray Manzarek and Robby Krieger.

Ray Manzarek
Robby Krieger
Daryl Hall
Guitar: T-Bone Wolk
Bass: Eliot Lewis
Drums: Kenny Arnoff

  • @recovering16 this is a dream team isn't it? I'm still terribly missing T-Bone though... I can't watch LFDH without thinking of him. Maybe because my mother died in 2009, it seems to me now life is so ephemeral and delicate. Love is definitely everlasting and I think that means every time it hurts, it's a reminder of that imperishable zing.

  • Make no mistake this is the best cover band on earth.....and i dont mean that flippantly. Their arrangements of old classics are truly superb..reckon there is'nt a song book standard they cant do

  • EXACTLY!

  • Guitar players will come and go. Will the love and respect ever be gained by another Guitar player? Truly a family affair .... RIP T Bone.

  • I wonder if Robbie ever met Frank Zappa??????????

  • Man I love this arrangement they worked out along with that acoustic strumming and Robbie's perfectly placed notes................

  • Simply awesome. It doesn't get any better. T-bone lived a good life, for sure. Fan for life.
