No one has HIS own money taxed two times. The COMPANY makes that dollar you keep talking about. Yes in reality ppl make it, but a company is a bunch of people. It makes it with it's own money. So the company has it's 1 dollar taxed, and when it changes hands (Buffet get's paid) it gets taxed again. If it changes hands again (pay someone for his services), it gets taxed again. is that triple taxation? And this can go on forever. So we can have 99x taxation.

If I was paying 13.9% like Romney, I'd be getting thousands back on the tax return I'm working on now instead of having to pay thousands more in.

I'm sick of working my butt off & paying more b/c Mitt pays less.

  • @Joseph565112 Government programs also create a great deal of jobs, yes. Especially in the area of undefined future jobs from projects like infrastructure, and science and technology.

Like I said the rich can't magically make jobs. They can only make them based on demand, sometimes creating new markets by leveraging science and technology (which is more often than not publicly funded). And again, the Gov, crowdsourcing, co-ops can all put up capital. The rich are the least important part.

  • @shraka You're leaving out a very important element here...the government.

Government have been setting objectives, financing wars etc, forcing private business to innovate to meet the need of the war effort, get contracts, etc.

Individuals create demand for basic necessities, nothing else.

This computer and internet you're using came from government objectives - the Apollo program and the cold war, more generally.

The rich certainly do create jobs, it takes capital.

  • @Joseph565112 Like I said the rich don't create the jobs, it's a collaborative effort. Consumers create demand - without this there would be no product. The rich then provide the funds to the working class to create and develop said product, then sell it. The middle class get more money and are then able to create demand for more products. In this process the rich aren't even the most important step - you can gather funding from multiple 'well off' sources rather than one big rich one.

  • @DillonDee1 Well that's too bad it's just your opinion. You should look into the media for a career so you can twist things to what you think they are even if its bull shit. Dude we never went to the moon either!!! Some article on the news said so its for sure true. Go to the source.

  • @loganattmobile -- I'll admit that the Mormon Church occasionally sends out disaster relief but 90% of Mitt's donation likely went for stock purchases & real estate purchases

  • @DillonDee1 WOULD you more than required? I'm sick of working my butt off to encourage others to be lazy.
