@jazzyedwin24 That's not bossa nova. You know...there's the Chicago Blues, and the Missisipi delta blues.

Bossa nova came out of Rio, Toninho's sound came out of Minas Gerais. That's the clube de esquina MPB sound from the mid 70s. A whole other animal.

His playing is so beautiful, it's hard to listen to him without being deeply moved. Cachaca would be the perfect place to hear this music. I wish I could have been there. Thanks so much for posting this.
