Superman Contest Winners, Batman 678, and Walking Dead #50

First off we look at Batman #678. The guys think this continuation of Batman RIP is very interesting. Then we check out The Walking Dead #50. Justin likes this big milestone issue and thinks it's headed in a great direction. Next Alex checks out Cable #5 and does an impersonation of Pete. Alex really likes this series and thinks you should check it out. During the Speed Round we look at Amazing Spider-man #564, Angel: After The Fall #10 , Manhunter #32, Fables #74, and House of Mystery #3. Then we find out who the winners are of Project Rooftop's Superman: Man of Style contest! Congratulations to everyone who entered, celebrity judge Mark Waid was a tough sell. Wow, I like the show, but I never realized how important Pete was to the dynamic of it. Seems a bit quiet and empty. And sterile, if that makes sense. Cool show though, if you do replace Pete, you should replace him with that chick from Comic Book Orange. 5 stars!

They give Pete a hard time on the show, which kind of adds tot he humor, but when he's not around, the show lacks something. Same goes for whenever one of them is gone.

The Batman RIP series is a multi issue crossover, which i don't believe was ever mentioned, covering Batman #676-681, Detective Comics #846-850, Nightwing #147-150, Robin #175-176 and Batman and the Outsiders #11-13. I haven't picked up any of the other comics besides the main RIP storyline, so i have a feeling i'm missing out on alot because RIP is not making sense so far and the fact that Morrison is bringing back shitty characters like BAT-MITE is unacceptable.....

I thought the baby was the phinox actully....was there not a pannel with the phinox rising in the babies eyes? also I thought the baby caused Cable to jump forward in time....
