@ThazuaBlackarrow Those Metallica albums are classics, and it's true that some bands do rip off others and even their elders, which is very sad. But I think its really unnecessary to hate a band for a couple of songs. A few new songs from Evile is really unique. It sounds a bit like Slayer (obviously), but they have a unique element that is hard to come by. The song is Infected Nation. Municipal Waste i can care less about cause their songs are too short to analyze.

@Trapmaker677 No, you mean greatly generic and overrated bands like Evile and Municipal Waste (Especially Municipal Waste. Fuck them and party thrash like them.) Showing your influences in music makes it great. That's what made Kill 'Em All and Ride the Lightning the best Metallica albums, you can hear the influences. But most new-age thrash bands just rip off older bands completely while still being generic thrash. Like Evile.

@ThazuaBlackarrow No, i mean GREAT bands that combine elements of multiple sounds and make them as one. Like Violator and Evile, and Gamma Bomb, and Municipal Waste, and ect.... It's really hard to do something without looking up to a role model.

@paszczak9111 "metallica plays pop"? does this have anything to do with the whole "sell-out" thing? know what? it's not their fault, it's that fucking asshole Bob Rock's fault. he completely ruined the old Metallica sound. if they still had Flemming Rasmussen as producer, i bet they would still play thrash metal today. oh, nice song btw
