Mećavnik is a town near Mokra Gora in Serbia where the infamous Serbian director Emir (Nemanja) Kusturica has created a wooden town. It has to be seen up close to be believed!

Saban Bajramovic died (2008) in misery. He was sick but he couldn't paid for his treatment.He complained how Belgrade & Nis never respected him. He never get any award from Serbia. He never call himself Serbian. Saban was the source of most of the tunes Bregovic retooled for use in Kusturica's films. of course, Bregovic called them "folk songs" and never paid a Dinar for the rights

KUSTURICA as movie maker he profited a lot from gypsies.
