New Piano concerto Black Madonna part 2

This is about a 22 minute one movement piano concerto in C#m. It started when I heard a Mahler Symphony on the radio and ran to the piano to find a C#m chord. I hunted around and found another chord that went with it. F#m and then another G#. I didn't play scales at the time. But then I began to do more drills. I improvised this piece for a year or so and grew it. Then I decided I wanted to make a complete concerto out of it. I had a ton of ambition all balled up inside me so I knew I could complete it. While going through themes to grow this piece there were always bits and pieces of familiar compositions that would come to memory. Rodrigo's guitar concerto, the music from the t.v. show "the Virginian" back in the 60's or 70's, and I don't know what else. After it was finished and I studied more music I also notices similiarities with other pieces in C# minor. Chopin and Moonlight Sonata.




But it hasn't been performed yet. I thought the hard part was getting it finished. The hard part is getting a conductor to tap the podium 4 times. Well I could do that, but I really think I'll have to overhaul it. I bought my first computer in 1994 to publish this concerto. The computer cost half my net worth. $2000. It had a 540 mb (megabyte) hard drive. I still have it. Windows 3.1 Somehow I became a performer even though i saw all the 17 year old virtuosos way ahead of me.
