The F.E.A.R. series is much scarier than the Dead-Space one. It just happens that this game in particular is the least scary of the F.E.A.R. series.

Dead-Space - mutated creatures and monsters/aliens constantly attacking you.

F.E.A.R. - the ghost of a psychic little girl constantly fucking with your mind, to the point that you doesn't know what's real and what isn't.

Fear is far more unique than DS dude.

@Ukaran I disagree. I find DS scarier than FEAR. FEAR is too... common for this kind of game, while DS brings a pretty much whole new category. FEAR: zombies and shit; DS: an organism that takes over the dead body of the host, and morphs it, plus everything happens in space, DS is scarier and more interesting (:
