I have a FA-91, and it eats every round that chambers just installed a new recoil buffer and look forward to seeing what she can do with the new AIM scope. I think his problem lies with any rebuild shes tight as hell till parts ware in.

I apologize if you are the person speaking on the video....which isn't always the case....no personal attack meant. Comment was removed and the main thing I was protesting was the FA-91.

LMAO internet lawyers..... always telling someone something they should or shouldnt do. Those mags are garbage, Ive tried em in g3s and cetmes. Im not sure if its just a spring issue but the followers like to tilt alot in them. And just about all cetme and 91s will eventually get headspace issues as this was a flawed design with the carrier. Its up to you to check your headspace, as a firearms owner you should atleast know how your gun works not to mention preventive maintenace.
Heath, Not familar with the platform but I doubt the mag is the cause. The round is chambering, mag did it's job. It may be a hammer reset issue. Meaning the hammer is following the bolt closed and not striking hard enough. Or maybe a headspace issue. Meaning you might have a very small gap between the fully seated chambered round and the bolt. Making the firing pin hit weakly or miss altogether. If ur trigger pulls and you hear the hammer strike it will likely be headspace because it reset.

Actually in this or the second vid, I figured out it was just bad ammo. It was TZ 80 headstamped Israeli surplus, and was ok plinking, but horrible. 1in10 had bad primers.
I jumped to the weapon because it was a new build.

I have a FA91 it has Century arms stamps on the bottom (by the barrel) so yes i'll support your statement towards Asshat. anyways the barrel on mine physically ends at 14" but there is a muzzle brake welded on the end making it the legal length of 16.5". with such a short barrel plus the muzzle brake you have to be a good 35 feet behind the person shooting or your ears will ring! (no kiddding)
how loud is yours?

Loud as hell...I love it! The guys at the range stop and stare every time I open up...the pressure wave is felt even with good hearing protection.
