Why can't all the E-bells sound like this? I like the mechanical ones much better, but this is definitely alright.

sounds alot better than those high pitched annoying ones

@freebrickproductions at one point WCH Was with Federal signal because before that they were WRRS and I forgot that that the ASC Makes sirens there is a T-128 about 0.3 miles away from my house. ;)

wow that is freaky

Good video! I like the higher pitched ones here in Kalamazoo because you can hear them clearly over the noise of the occasional BNSF coal train, or the more common NS SD70M's hauling mixed freight. Even the loud idle of Amtrak can't drown it out.

thats an ASC bell. most rare bell you can find EVER. you are lucky you found this!!! i like this bell a lot i wish it was used a lot more

I mean Western Cullen Hayes.

No, search ASC T-128 to see one of their sirens. Federal Signal and Wesern Cullen Hayes are the same company. WCH is a division of FS.
-
i think your thinking of Federal Signals

ASC also makes tornado sirens!
This is not freaky. It kicks ass.

@METX611 Hahaha. Freaky is kick ass, kick ass is awesome! Just sucks that (to my knowledge) this is the only one that sounds like this. Thankfully UP hasn't replaced the E-bells on the UP Geneva Sub. Yet...

Metra probably doesn't care what bell is on it's crossings, but I would care.

@SgtDonuts These tracks aren't owned by Metra, they are owned by the Union Pacific. How ever the Chicago and North Western ordered the bell for this crossing, unless UP replaced it at some point.
