Why is he putting his head under the hood on the dyno run. I am waiting for the intake manifold to blow and give him 3rd degree burns.

What kinda of wheels are on the car

@drunkinmaster1 It depends greatly on the turbo. Also, this user specifies EXACTLY which turbo he is using, and that is what I am basing my facts off of. On a conservative tune with the same turbo, 300whp is normally between 12-16PSI depending on the tune/fuel used etc... weather or not it is SAFC or a full blown tune and a few more factors. However, I did assume the use of 550CC injectors which seems to be quite common.

Boost levels are irrelevant. There are too many factors involved that dictate hp. Altitude, timing, air temps, compression ratio, I can go on. Boost psi does not factor in volume or cfm which is a more accurate method to rate a turbo charger. 22psi on one turbo means 22psi on a smaller turbo. I personally like to use the fart analogy; if a mouse farts at 22 psi then an elephant farts at 22 psi who wins? In the end conservative tuning is the winner for a daily driver.

that boost level doesnt sound right for the power you are making... you should be around 375-400 with 22psi... Who did your tune??

what BOV are you using?
