I've changed the lifters few months after this video was taken and no problems since then.

bro try coil packs/ timing belt/sparkplugs/and wires helped my 1995 mitsubishi diamante it sounded just like yours

@zenguitarankh Pull the upper intake, and maybe a few other things. At least that's what we do at Ford to change the plugs in the 3.0 liter Escapes. Takes an hour, hour and 1/2 to change all 6, not really a big deal, probably not too much worse on these engines.

I've been told that a little bit of ticking is normal....I'm thinking about calling bullshit....does anyone know how to change the back 3 plugs on that thing????

Gotta get some 1999 lifters from a 3000GT.

That cures the tick. :)
