This got handed back to me at a drive-thru but whatever this video wont matter for long because appearently by 2013 all canadian bills are gonna have a new model like the new $100 bill

Not all $5 bills have the metallic stripe. Only the new ones.

The bill is real and explain right in Wiki. The one on the left is a 2002 bill and the one on the right is the 2006 version with updated secuity features. Good on you to try to help people though. I recently was told that this was a fake five and another difference is that it's slightly smaller too. check it out for yourself at wiki and look up the Canadian five dollar bill

@jimmylovecd That one is counterfeit, in his video, it doesn't have the watermark of Wilfred Laurier.

I got a counterfeit $10 bill from wal-mart and it looked exactly the same, they put the shiny maple leafs to make it look legit.

As I said the original $5 and $10 bills did not have the metallic stripe, which would make them near impossible to counterfeit, so this is why the old $5 and $10 bills are counterfeit, because people don't pay attention to the stripe.

look kid that money is real when the first bills were out the $5 and $10 did not have the metallic stripe till they made new ones and the old ones did not have a metallic stripe but they had a uv stripe so when you use a uv light the stripe appear and the stripe has on it bank of Canada $5
