i disagree with what kpmull said about screws and not nails. True that screws are easier to work with but in windy conditions alot of stress is put on them and they tend to snap and break, nails on the other hand will hold strong and keep everything together. I would recommend nails or bolts for the supports and screws for the flooring and guard rails

OMG, I built the same type of treehouse and me and my friends got the idea from a book. I think that type is called a "Perch". Anyway, AWESOME treehouse

About $1000 US. I still have to put in a permanent zipline and I think the wire rope and hardware will cost another $300-$400

Travis, Mine cost about $1000. Get a book by David and Jeanie Stiles. They have several to choose from but I used it for a workbook. Had it with me the whole time and it was very useful in design and layout. Good luck.
