@htuomnom or High Noon

@ThePearlofeire I disagree. A man would be expected to go back and die, if he has to. I guarantee, if he ran out and left his wife and children behind, he'll wish he'd been killed. "How could you run out on your WIFE & CHILDREN?
-
@Soulblackman If a man left a burning house with family left behind he would not be called a coward because if the whole house is on fire it is actually impossible to rescue anyone.And in a less severe fire situation either the father or the mother would be expected to or would try to run back in to rescue the kids and spouse.
-
@ThePearlofeire I wasn't referring to professional firefighters. If a man left a burning house with his family behind, he would be called a coward. NOT so with a woman. In a sinking ship, NO ONE considers it to be "not equality" when the captain says WOMEN & CHILDREN FIRST.ALL of that "equality" goes out the window! LET the ship come back, and we learn that men went on lifeboats and left women to drown. When stuff hits the fan, ALL of that "equality" is [conveniently] forgotten.
-
@ThePearlofeire The feminist movement, which ultimately was CREATED by these "men" of "modern times", has spawned a generation of weak man and masculine women. RIGHTS? Divorce courts STILL favor women, and I don't see ANY women DEMANDING that in the name of "equality", that females, upon turning 18, must register for Selective Service.
-
@Soulblackman Blame the men of modern times who make these modern movies(and they are mostly men who make these movies) for portraying male characters in movies as soft or even gay such as in "Humpback Mountain" but this dumbing down thing has nothing to do with feminists or anyone who wants rights for women.
-
@Soulblackman Either one of them as they are both the leaders or head of the household over the children but that is only before the firefighters come and firefighters can either be men or women.Though obviously often it can be too dangerous for anyone other than the firefighters to do so.
-
@Porojukaha I think your discussion of politics has nothing to do with discussion of this film.
-

Oh, liberal?Censorship?Clinton was a draft-dodger.he executed a retarded black man.that makes HIM a racist.John Wayne in his movies, represented manhood, a FAR cry from the modern-day, pansy-nansy humpback mountain madness.I like most of his westerns.He had enough talent to get the point across.Principle,integrity and fighting for one's beliefs against all odds.Was he Oscar material? No! But he acted well enough, apparently for you as well, or you wouldn't be at this 'tube.
