Jason Leopold reports: "In a recent interview, former US Ambassador Joseph Wilson told me that he and his wife, Valerie Plame Wilson, both strongly feel that Vice President Dick Cheney is behind efforts to block her from discussing her work for the Central Intelligence Agency before 2002 in a memoir to be published in October titled 'Fair Game.' Plame Wilson's undercover CIA identity was leaked to a handful of reporters by senior Bush administration officials. She and her husband believe the leak was in retaliation after he spoke out against the White House concerning Iraq."
@Whoo69 no it wasn't. Actually, you and I will never know. But what is said is that a lower level officer of the CIA brought it up. Some was to go, why not your husband who has been an ambassador to the country of Niger and as so made friends and allies. So he's MORE then suited to do the Job if he will.

Plus, it seems Mrs. Plame's identity as a cia agent may not have been as undercover after all, so there is no "leak." It would not have been illegal if she was a regular cia agent who was not undercover or doing covert ops, which seems to be the case here.

If what I'm reading is correct from a different (and perhaps more credible) source, Valerie Plame (according to email records and the like) recommended to her CIA superiors that Wilson be sent to Niger. It wasn't Cheney who told him to. And I've also heard that Wilson and the people in the cia sent him WITHOUT signing a non-disclosure form or getting proper clearance, AND George Tenet didn't even know about this til late.
Something very fishy going on. Do a little more research for a change.

Hold on a minute! Now, Joe Wilson may be correct, and everyone who is against the war automatically believes his side of the story, but what if he's lying or telling us something that isn't necessarily true? After all, as Shadow Warriors seems to have documented, there WAS actually evidence that Saddam was trying to get uranium from Niger, and the forged documents may actually have been forged on purpose to make the administration look bad. Btw, it was Valerie who recommended Wilson be sent.

Cheney should have no immunity and neither should Bush; they must be held accountable for the crimes they have committed against America's democracy, her people and humanity!
