This won't become a common occurrence, but over the past few days, I've watched the Dynamite Kid top ten many, many times, and I just don't feel happy with it. When I made it, I knew very little about Kid, and threw it together on a whim to go along with the Tiger Mask video(which I'm quite pleased with). It's because of this that I've taken an official policy to become well versed in the wrestler before I do a top ten for them. Also, DON'T ask me to do this with any other video.
Dynamite Kid is someone who needs little introduction to the wrestling world. Kid got his start in England, and shortly after his debut, he won quite a few Welterweight and Light Heavyweight Titles before being recruited by Bruce Hart to compete for Stampede Wrestling in Canada. It was there that he received further instruction in the legendary Dungeon, under the tutelage of the one and only Stu Hart. After a while, he brought in his cousin, Davey Boy Smith, to Stampede, and after a lengthy feud, the two joined forces to become the British Bulldogs. Dynamite was also splitting his time with New Japan Pro Wrestling, and it was there that Kid would meet his greatest rival, Tiger Mask. The two met in several classic matches that are now the stuff of legend ,and thanks to various media outlets, are now available for the new generation of wrestling fans. After the feud, Dynamite entered, and won a tournament to crown the new WWF World Jr. Heavyweight Title(despite it being a WWF title, it was almost exclusively defended in Japan). Shockingly, after losing the belt, he and Davey Boy jumped to rival All Japan Pro Wrestling. There, Dynamite defeated the Mighty Inoue to win the NWA International World Jr. Heavyweight Title. It was also here the Dynamite met the legendary Tiger Mask II, who would eventually shed the mask, and compete under his real name of Mitsuharu Misawa. It wasn't long before the duo was signed by the WWF, and when they got there, the duo was arguably the most dominant tag team force not named the Road Warriors. It wasn't long before total domination over the tag team division would come about, as the two defeated Brutus Beefcake and Greg Valentine to win the WWF World Tag Team Titles at Wrestlemania II. The two then engaged in a lengthy feud with the Hart Foundation, and disaster followed. Through no fault of anyone, Dynamite ended up with a severe back injury mid-match. To allow Kid to heal, the two lost the belts to the Hart Foundation. Worse, Dynamite came back way too soon, and would have to take more time off in the near future. Unfortunately, these two injuries would prove to be the beginning of the end. The duo failed to regain the tag team belts from current champions Demolition, and soon afterward, the Bulldogs would be released(stories differ on how or why). Back in Japan, the duo returned to All Japan, and picked up where they left off, facing off against the likes of the Can Am Express and the Malenko Brothers. Davey Boy would soon leave, and rejoin the WWF(another source of controversy, as Dynamite would claim that Smith made the deal without consulting him or offering to bring him in as well). Dynamite would find a new partner in Johnny Smith, but his back wouldn't hold up for long, and he was forced to retire in 1991. He would make one more in-ring appearance at Michinoku Pro's These Days event in 1996, but that would be his last match. His back had been injured so severely that he is now confined to a wheelchair. Dynamite can easily be referred to as one of the most innovative wrestlers of the past thirty years, innovating moves such as the Superplex, and making the Snap Suplex a move of beautiful violence. Many around the world would be counting the lights after Dynamite scored with his incredible Diving Headbutt.
Have the use of the diving headbutt paralyzed him in his later years SD?

The move certainly didn't help. He also suffered an injury due to a ring malfunction, and came back too soon.
