  • @johndgray1 What leads you to believe the people picking our fruit are not U.S. citizens who happen to be of Mexican decent?

It appears you are against securing our borders. For what reason I don't know but the country has been opened to many dangers because our borders are not protected.

  • @JillAnderson Yeah, free schools for their kids.Schools should be reserved for those who can pay for them and since taxes are just an evil scheme by liberals to take away your hard earned money, schools should charge for educating students..If you think education is expensive you should try ignorance.Wait! We did and it's given us guys like John Boehner who want to balance the federal budget by making the Shrub tax cuts permanent! Never mind that Shrub's tax cuts caused the deficits.

  • @jizzmonger No I'm referring to Mexican immigrants that come to the U.S looking for a better life. Will I see you working the apple harvest during the summer?

  • @johndgray1 Are you referring to drug smugglers?

  • Here are people willing to cross some of the worst terrain in the world, willing to risk their life to come to America, but because the from Mexico we don't want them here.

Really says something about our hypocrisy as a nation.

  • And at the time, there were no "defined borders." As with every other country out there, do you honestly think that the country was just formed without having to put up a fight against its native people or the country that still governed its people (who were obviously pissed off)? The whole purpose behind a country is so that its people are effectively independent and separate of another nation's rule, and to maintain that, borders with regulation of what comes in and how is an absolute must.

  • What happened hundreds of years ago cannot be undone, and it no longer has relevance to the way society has advanced today. We are a diverse nation. Unfortunately, there is still a degree of xenophobia and racism (and every other -ism/-phobia you can think of) left in some people. But I rest my case: borders are a MUST for any nation that wants to maintain poltical and social balance for its people. The issue is about people CHEATING the system that we have in place with our borders. I'm sorry.

  • @1SadBoxer

Caucasians may have come, but never settled..

Natives settled the land.. for THOUSANDS of generations, up until a handful of generations ago.. and damn has this land taking a toll

But here we are, in one big "mixing pot" of ethnic groups.

Ironically.. Those Mexicans at the boarder have more native blood running through their vanes then some tribe members here in the states.

But we strap the title of "Aliens" on them O_o

  • @nomanners51 You're right all you have to do is fill out a form and bam you can stay here forever.

Do some research - you obviously have NO idea what you're talking about. Coming to America is a multi-year, very expensive and complicated process. Look it up.

  • @ua7flyer

It is very easy to immigrate, all you have to do is fill out paperwork. We shouldn't let people come here illegaly and give them the benefits of residents and citezens. Anyone is welcome in this country as long as they come legally. You should think before you speak.
