2010 MazdaSpeed3 Optimum No-Rinse Washing Your Car In Your Garage

This is demonstrating how I wash my car IN my garage with just a few gallons of water and Optimum No-Rinse Wash which I highly recommend, especially in winter. I got everything in this video from AutoGeek. This is so much better than just relying on automatic car washes (recycled water) or freezing to death trying to wash your car in your driveway.

Yes every video I make must be super dramatic hahaha. It takes about 15-20 minutes to wash your car this way, and if you use grit guards and two buckets you won't get any swirls.

The song is from the Final Fantasy soundtrack and makes my car wash look even more epic than it was ;) For those that ask, the filters on the "after" video at the end are from Magic Bullet Studio and the video was edited in Sony Vegas.

beautiful!!!! haha..what kind of camera did you use? Also..any tips for washing with ONR on a car with lots of salt/grime? (im from canada) I have an 08 Mz3 Sedan in Black Mica..im on torontomazda3. Nice Vid!

Thanks! It's a Canon Vixia HF20 (same as the HF200 with built in memory) I would recommend rinsing the car off with a hose, or going through a REALLY cheap car wash first. I never feel that car washes do a good job, but it rinses the major stuff off, then you just detail away the rest in like 15 minutes.

first i find it odd someone w/ 1995 in their name would have a mercedes SL second if your so rich how did you come by this video?

but this being the internet....

i bring my mercedes cls 550 into the shade and wash it myself. you realize that car washes DONT use the 2 bucket system, dry with CLEAN microfiber, or dont clean their brushes and cleaning pads in between washes right? they clean your car sure, but dont give a damn about the clear coat. swirls are worse than a dirty car

You do not need a grit guard with Optimum No Rinse because the polymers bond to the contaminants in the bucket. This is also the reason that your wash mitt gets dirty faster than other car washes.
