Let's Draw - Princess Luna's Descent

First time doing a lets draw. Decided to do a piece starting the descent into darkness of Princess Luna of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic.

Every pony artist one day or another draws a sad Luna Piece, I'll draw Happy Luna one day to balance it out.

Do the tablets display the image on them as well, so you know where you are drawing?

Some of the higher end models of tablets do have a screen but I have one of the cheaper small models that does not have a display screen on the tablet itself.

Hey I have a question;

You said that you have a tablet that lacks an LCD screen. Is it tough to draw on one like that, or is it the same? It sounds impossibly difficult to me, drawing without seeing what I'm affecting.

Its weird at first I will admit (but then I had never used a tablet with a screen so I have no idea how different it is to use one). It took some getting used to, but really its only a matter of learning to looking at the screen as opposed to your hands as you draw.

Why do you put so many  layers into it? And when do you create a new layer?

Its sort of a bad habit I have, with the to many layers. I tend to make a new layer every time I want to try something but don't want to mess up something I had on another layer. I just tend not to merge layers like I pry should.

The soundtrack brought so much nostalgia upon me that I almost fell off the chair when I heard the opening notes... and the drawing,attention to detail and precision... it's just... superb! 10/10 :D

@ShadowRaven I'm having visual design classes and my teacher is one of the greatest illustrators and concept artists i've yet witnessed,and according to him,making a lot of layers isn't AT ALL a bad habit. My tablet arrives in january,and I hope to be at least 10% as good as you when it does! Good luck and keep on drawing :D
