Strawberry fields.

This is a Real Strawberry Field, for those who never saw one.

It takes a lot of time to pick strawberry's and you must be careful not to damage them when you pick them. This is Gedding's Strawberry Farm, in Iowa. Part II will be better next year, when they upgrade the operation due to heavy visitor action.

Just growing mine for the first time. Should I pick them right off the stem or do you pull the whole stem they are connected to? Or does it ot matter? Do new ones grom from teh same stem or are there new shoots that make new berries? Any idea Dave? :)

picked strawberries when i went back packing to raise some cash fora bus ticket. i was paid £0.80 pence for 1lb of berries picked. killer job it was bending down all the time
