This is my first attempt at a Let's Play and i decided on Wizardry 8. It's a favorite of mine and isn't well known.

This is an intro part where I create my party of 6. When creating characters, you get a nice chunk of bonus points for stats. I put these points into stats that will open up some class changes later on.

The party consists of:

Dracon Fighter
Rawulf Priest
Fairy Alchemist
Fairy Mage
Gnome Bard
Mook Gadgeteer

  • I was thinking of this party:

    Dracon Samurai

    Human Lord

    Human Gadgeteer

    Elf Bishop

    Faerie Mage

    Human Bard

    How would that work out?

  • It would do good..

  • Thanks. My brother made the Samurai, so I was going to use his character. How difficult will the game be with this party?

  • It won't be too hard. you have 2 armored tanks and at least 1 healer and lock picker. Just have everyone stand behind the lord and samurai and keep buffs up.

  • I'm thinking about going fighter, gadgeteer, priest, psionic, ninja, and valkyrie. What do you think?

  • Sounds good. It covers alot of the basics and will give you access to 3 spell schools.

  • My mum played it before 10 years. And I play it now. I have got Felpur-Samurai, Mook-Ranger, Mook-Gatheteer, Hobbit-Bard (but i wont Dwarf. Bard need more stamina), Vrrk-Priest and Mook-Psionick. It´s very good party, super combination, really. Try it. And now is even better, becose I´ve got Madras and Vi Domina ( I <3 Madras. He is so nice and beaty full :D )

  • @SoulCaliburHero ps faeries die easily

  • @SoulCaliburHero my dad completed it with 2 fighters 1 samuri 1 bard 1 bishop and 1 mage

  • The first song is from Phoenix Wright: JtA Right?

  • After watching some videos on this game i said to my self:I WANT THIS GAME! One question though how many members are allowed in your party? And this was my party idea: 2 Dragons 2 Rawulfs a Faerie and a Mook. What do you guys think?

  • @aorsork Lol, yeah. Actually that is true, i wasted hours on the character creation screen, heck i created characters that i wouldn't use because they were weak, but i just liked them. Allso i must have used up all the Felpurr and Rawulf portraits. :P

  • Gah i wanna play this again so bad but when I install the game I have a corrupt/missing file and the game won't start.

  • My party was quite different. I had 2 fighters(dracons), mage, alchemist, priest and psionic. I also recruited monk(robot) and gadgeteer. Not very interesting group, but really powerfull later in the game.

  • @SoulCaliburHero I Reckon you would need at least one straight fighter but your composition is nice too. Me I finished the game with 3 fighters (2 Dwarfs one human) a cleric (Dwarf) a mage (Human) and a thief (Hobbit) nad the NPC's i used the most were Vi (Of course) and Madras. Gadgeteers are among the best classes in the game. Not only do they make all these extremely useful gadgets but they shoot like hell too!
