  • listing voltage alone is kinda pointless without knowing how much current is going thru the coil...

  • if you can't blow a 9500 then you are a retard.

  • @breedam yeah, i said wat i did, cuz i had a pair of mtx 10's dvc on a pioneer 760 amp...i know the amp never put that much out, but the subs should have handled it and i did have it tuned properly, no other subs i have hooked up to that amp ever blew except those...even the 2 sony 10's handled it no problem

  • @jtmagicman25 maybe i just happened to get a bad set...either way ive stepped up from bullshit brands like sony :P im running kicker comp 15's now besides its all reletive to what you look for in subs, you just want something loud, yeah mtx is good for that, you want really clean clear bass, then u want JL, in between the two then kicker is a good choice....u just want a couple things that dont do shit and look like subs buy sony lol

  • MTX is a good brand IMO subs never died one, even if i were putting triple the power on them that they were rated for

  • there are multiple brands that beat all of those

  • this is for noobs, my 13W7 will eat a 9500 alive

  • @bigdaddybass80 take off that mesh around the basket, when they heat up the whoole metal cone does to, after i punched them out it didnt run as warm, lol trade them while u can before they blow up dude

  • @bigdaddybass80 nope ive had the optis for almost 4 months and they blew off a crunch pza 2k..the optis have 2 soft spiders, heavy cone and coil blow from mechaical problems, there loud but they dont last long thats why there so cheap.. they also like small ported boxes, big ones like mine obvesly blowem lol.. 95s slam pretty hard too, i mean optis def slam but there def not as loud or realible as the 95s

  • @278Jaa your dumb, I've had my thunder 12''s for 10 years and they are still strong as hell.

  • wow mtx is desperate for attention , lol the only way they could get mentioned was by using the names Kicker and Jl audio in the same sentence as their sub. hell, ive had sony xplods last longer than mtx thunder series subs and they had similar ratings...wait i take that back, the mtx was DVC, it should have been able to do more....
