I do have to say that the people running Sunny Brook are really doing well. I went to brunch a few times and have had dinner at the restaurant, and all i can say is that the food is the BEST in Pottstown. While it comes at a price, it is well worth it and i certainly will be going back as often as i can!
pottsbgstv , That side was so rotted from water damage it had to be removed. There was nothing we could do about saving it. I know how you feel, I help place the ballroom on the National Register of Historical Places back in 2004.
Unfortunately it will never be the same, as they demolished the right side of the ballroom(the partition-able area) and the kitchen. It feels smaller because of that.
We, the Glenn Miller Orch., played there last night. The place was jumpin' and everybody had a great time! We also celebrated the 70th anniversary of "In the Mood". Keep supporting these historic ballrooms, aa there aren't many left.
