This tutorial demonstrates how to create a teleport pad in Second Life. Part 1 creates the teleport pads and part 2 shows how to make minor code modifications. The tutorials rely on Jeff Heaton's Teleport code which can be downloaded from

  • Hey guys, need some help here. I followed this tutorial but still it wont work.

When i click my teleport pad my character travels to where i want him to be, but then he sits in empty space. Then i have to click "stand" to make him stand again. seems like the UnSit function doesn't work. Help plz

  • every time i try to same the text it says it is unably to do it

  • it's awesome!!! I want to learn more.

  • this is great. I hope to learn more.

  • Yes, except they mention opening Word. It's not a good idea to use Word for code editing, especially with its "smart quotes" nonsense that *will* break your code. It might be common knowledge, but they specifically mentioned it in the video, hence my complaint.

  • I said that its useless because its common knowledge.

I dont use any of that crap, i use stuff like crimson editor.

  • This is probably one of the most... useless comments ive ever read, lol
