you all know about noahs ark yeah??? well noah protected 2 of every species from the "flood".imagine master chief is noah, the ark is some sort of defence system (possibly the halo's) and the "flood" are the "flood".think about it for a while and it will make sense.

p.s. the thing i just said was taken from the vid: halo 3 theories and i only mentioned it to spread the persons theory...

@somedude242 I think noah is the librarian, the female forruner who decided humanity was something special and worthy of being saved by the flood, which instead of being rising waters was the actual parasitic Flood. The Ark could have been the portal built in east africa to send us to the ark, to escape the activation of the halo arrays. Over the years, the story got changed up and.... ha btw i don't believe any of this, just putting it into "halo" terms

@somedude242 i think you're on to something BUT, imagine Noah as the librarian, the forunner female who decided that humanity was special and had to be preserved, and the ark, the portal that the forunners sent early man through to the ark, to escape annihilation from the activation of the halo array.

@1993DJC If the forerunners were Noah, then Noah used his boat to stop the flood, killing everything aboard. With the exception of the chosen few to repopulate.

i managed to pause it on the first. something about "the secretes it holds must be preserved" so im guessing the flood would be pressured on the halo rings, which is obvious...
