A remembrance video in honor of Jan Van Beveren, who was an amazing trainer, a wonderful person, and a great friend. He was an inspiration to the entire soccer community of Beaumont, Texas, as well as to people all over the world. We will miss him more than words can express. We love you, Jan. Thank you for all you've done for us. The Spindletop Select soccer community, as well as the rest of the world, has lost an amazing gift. We were lucky to meet you and will love you always.

Very saddened to just be getting this news. Jan was my coach in Dallas from age 13 on. Playing goalkeeper for him was an honor and he had a tremendous impact on my life, on and off the field. He truly had a passion for the game, and teaching it to young people. He will be missed.

Thank you for posting this! He was such a great trainer and definitely had a huge impact on my soccer playing as well as my life. The world is missing one of the kindest hearts I knew. Miss you Jan and love you!

He was just the best... It was a privilege to watch the "Flying Dutchman" in person on the Strikers. He was still in his prime.
