Interesting, I went on the Metro in Washington on a Sunday, and there were many of these kinds of trains. They were not accepting any passengers, all the lights were off and sometimes they stopped, sometines they didnt. I'm Guessing this would be training rookie drivers, but thought i should bring it up.

  • Not always. On Sundays when service isn't frequent, they'll run trains through the routes to get to a rail yard or something.

  • probably from branch ave or Greenbelt

  • Where do you think that train came from?

  • What line is this train on?

  • This means that they are revenue collecting trains.

  • Some trains are like that, 'cause they might need a tune up or somethin'.
