A joint effort between British and Swedish medical research develops the worlds first artificial body parts using plastic molds coated in stem cells.

Once again, a government-run socialized health care systems disprove the myth that "profit-driven" medicine spurs innovation and medical breakthroughs.

"Profit-driven" medicine gets you "a better diet pill" or the next baldness cure, not medical breakthroughs for which there is no commercial market.

  • @PinkProgram Was thinking the same thing. I knew we had made an artificial heart, we just haven't stuck anything inside of anyone yet.

  • Cool.

  • Slap the words "Job Bill" on this and you got a Title.

  • @Mikuruification well once they reverse engineer the homunculus system for human use that may be possible. As it stands only nonhuman thought forms can become homunculi... since the result of the process would not be considered human even with a human personality. Humans have trouble thinking in two places at once and the biological body has the greater claim of personhood :3

  • @PinkProgram

It would be my dream to know we might be able to escape death via Artificial Bodys
