Now I am not trying to get your hopes up, but I have got the latest from Tim Burton. It is no surprise that Burton is a super busy guy with multiple projects going on, but it is one project in particular that would get moviegoers hearts pumping and that is a sequel to "Beetlejuice," his horror-comedy classic from the '80s.

Burton said in a recent interview with MTV QUOTE "I love that character, and Michael Keaton is so great in it, I always think about how great and fun that character was, so I just said to Dark Shadows screenwriter Seth Grahame-Smith, 'If you have some idea about it, go for it, and then I'll look at it freshly.' In the past, I tried some things, but that was way back when. He seemed really excited about it."

Beetlejuice beetlejuice beetlejuice, you think that will make this appear? Anyway, let's hope Seth knocks this one out of the park so we can bring back this classic. Although the sequel is probably a while away, at least there is buzz about it. What do you guys think about this sequel? I know....Alvin and the Chipmunks, Garfield, The Smurfs, etc. Transformers has been a pretty good franchise so far (haven't seen the 3rd one), and I don't like gi joe at all. Cartoon or movie. I'm not a war theme guy.

Tim talked about a sequel not long after the first film, beetlejuice in Hawaii, but he never got round to doing it. Doesn't sound like a great idea to me.

Sequels are generally not better than the first so burton would have to do something extra with it
