The science behind AGW is nowhere near as straightforward as we've been led to believe.
In any case, we need should try to find cheap, renewable energy instead of coal and oil. That's something that we can all agree on.

I want humanity to be godlike. The fossil fuels civilization is crap. I've been spoiled by sci-fi as a little kid and thus when the real world falls short of my expectations of a post-scarcity society with technological immortality and interstellar colonies (instead choosing to waste time on conflicts over crap like religion and national sovereignty) I grow ever more misanthropic yet lustful for power to be able to change it all to my liking.

AAhh, climate change... if it wasn't for this nonsense, we would all focus our efforts on stopping Monsanto and their war waged on the genetic level to enslave all the food on earth.

There is no climate crisis and the "collective we" cannot stop climate change. Believe in the human ability to adapt, humans have been doing it for thousands of years. Don't hinder economic development and deprive developing countries the access to the same technologies and advantages that we have in the developed world. Don't enslave developing countries by hindering their efforts to develop in a vain and worthless attempt to control the temperature of the earth!

we are the ones that breath the air! we must be the ones to hold those companies that pollute air accountable. those 'externalities' must be accounted for.
