The western media is misleading people as to the cause of the conflict. The old contract expired between Russian and Ukraine. Russia, seeing as though Ukraine was once an ally received oil at a third of market price. Now Russia wants regular market price under the new contract. There is no controversy really. Ukraine wants the best of both worlds.

1) Ally with the west and join the EU while still obtaining energy at rock bottom prices. The world does not work this way. Pick a side and reap.

Probably. It would help Americans to study other languages, go abroad, and be very sceptical of what their media and politicians say. I'm a Western European. Was immersed in the "American Dream" and the "Ugly Russians". Having visited Russia and the United States many times, I feel more at home in Russia. I feel I'm with fellow Europeans. As for the media .. No one in the US mentioned toxic assets which ruined the world. And the Big Lie re war in Iraq. That's just for starters.

I knew it! What else would we expect whenever the Israelis come under heavy ridicule over their over-aggressions.
